SOLedades

SOLEDADES - VARIATIONS OF SOLITUDE

When you grow older,
when you live alone,
when you suffer from lapses of memory,
when lasting rain interferes with communication
- what do you do then?

Pascal Viglino invites his audience to an intimate chamber play full of poetry, noises of writing and melodic tapestries of sound. This inner isolation mirrors the fear of death and the physical and mental deterioration and let the protagonist as well as the audience discover a multitude of solitudes.

La table des matières (2018)

A meticulously planned poetic journey following multiple visual and auditiv meanders within the intimacy of a living room.

Video: Sebastian Geret

The plot revolves around a living room table and an actor/percussionist, who's using the table in various ways. La table des matières is a fantasy of freely orchestrated words, sounds and gestures, divided into absurd, burlesque and touching images, inspired by different sources such as the poesie sonore of Daniel Canty, or Christophe Tarkos, a song by Sansverino, Google Translate or internet hazards... each show will be presented in a different apartment.

Concept, composition and play: Julien Mégroz. With texts from "la Table des matières" by Daniel Canty, Karine Hubert, Karoline Georges and Erín Moure/Elisa Sampedrín; and extend by excerpts from oeuvres by Daniel Pennac, Christophe Tarkos and Sanseverino. Sound concept and regie: Cyrill Lim. Lumière: Jérôme Bueche. Stage Design: Simon Deppierraz. Oeil et oreille extérieurs: Pascale Güdel and Julien Annoni. Production: Association For Schlag. Duration: ca. 60 min

gehe in die kirche
kehre in dich

go to the top of a high mountain
lie on your back
see the sky and the scope
listen to the sounds of this space
each sound appears in a new hue
every hue sounds in a different light
how the light changes in vastness
just a few sounds appear simultaneously
use integer ratios
combination tones arise
the sounds move in space
they enable silence
